My family and friends all know the sure fire way to get a Christmas present from me is to drop a hint about wanting a certain book. As an avid reader, I love giving something lasting like a hard cover book. And even though I do most of my shopping online, I always make time to browse the bookstores and all the interesting titles on display.

When four different people put the same book on their "wish list," it got my attention. My son, a college baseball coach, tells me that he plans to give away four copies as gifts to the other coaches.
